Usually I prefer an duet narration, but the actors did such a great job with this, I didn't even notice!
Just to start with, this book was DARK. If you have read books by this author before, You should expect nothing less. But please be aware going into it that there are heavy scenes of on page SA, talks of past child abuse ect..
This story follows Charlie, a girl who has been held captive since she was 16 and Jay. A rockstar who has his own past trauma to heal from.
This book was such a rollercoaster from start to finish, it kept me guessing the entire time and I couldnt stop listening to it, desperate to hear how it ended for these characters.
10/10 no notes!
