Nick runs into big trouble and dire consequences when strangers try to steal his motorbike. Chris suffers loss and betrayal in the midst of battling with hostiles, which make her question her leadership skills. Gabby back from hospital and almost recovered from her injuries, is shocked to discover a den of thieves within her very own camp. Meanwhile, Cha surprises himself and everyone else when he uses his brawn as well as his brain to help in the heat of an emergency, earning respect and extra responsibilities.
I like this series, but at times it comes across as too 'cozy' for the kind of hardships that occur in the story.
Great narration and looking forward to the next audiobook in this series.
