Lovely story.

A truly lovely story that became more and more engrossing as the book progressed.

The narrator was excellent and helped in making the audio book extremely enjoyable.

Excellent

Enjoyed all aspects of this book, the characters, the setting and the twisty plot. The story came alive and I started to feel I knew the characters they were so real to me. It was difficult to tear myself away when I had to stop listening. I do find that Choc Lit books are generally excellent. I'd definitely listen to another of this author's books.

Takes a while to get going

I enjoyed the plot and once it eventually got going (I’d say in the last quarter) it was pretty good.
The build up was quite repetitive and not a lot took place in the first half of the book besides the initial plot layout.
But overall I could see myself reading it again in the future.

It has everything…….. Completely different to any other book I have read. Characters came to life so strongly.

Choc lit!

Choc lit just about sums it up. It was on the recommended list for our book group - I don't know why. I can't imagine we'll have much to talk about.

Narration not for me

I found this book annoying to step to ..no real feeling in the narrators voice ..it is monotone or even painful on the ears the story dragged on but that could have been because I kept stopping then going back to give it another try ..but alas I’ve given up I
