Summary

If you want to become an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and show your pride, then keep reading.

Have you ever been close to anyone who is of a different gender or identity? Or do you know of anyone that doesn’t know how to act around you because of your identity? The fear. The anxiety. The tension of being discovered and discriminated against is real!.

Can you help yourself become a better ally to the LGBTQ+ community? Can you show your pride and help others become allies as well? Yes, you can.

In this audiobook, you will discover:

  • The number 1 hurdle that stops us from living a bias free life
  • LGBTQ+ etiquette and techniques for respectful conversations
  • The mindset that we need to make it easier and more enjoyable to be an LGBTQ+ ally
  • Common bloopers to avoid
  • Tips on what to say and not what to say when someone comes out to you
  • Actions for creating more LGBTQ+ inclusive spaces
  • And so much more!

When it comes to LGBTQ terms, it seems clear that the best approach to inclusive terminology is to allow community members to decide their labels. But it becomes more complicated as we learn about new - or more likely previously misunderstood - identities, making it increasingly harder to fit all of these different groups under one enormous umbrella term.

Yes, even you can become more approachable, likable and influential. Yes, even you can achieve your goals and live a happy and fulfilling life by making society a more inclusive and better place.

You can build confidence and become the best version of yourself even if you have tried to navigate the waters of the LGBTQ+ community before.

If you want to improve your society around you and become an LGBTQ+ ally, buy this audiobook now!

Remarkable book and performance

I loved listening to Jane Austen’s masterpiece and Rosamund Pike’s performance gives credit to the characters and the atmosphere of the novel! I would listen again and again!

A sublime experience

Rosalind Pike's beautiful narration feels like Jane Austen is unfolding this wonderful tale in person.

wow

A brilliant and classic story I know very well but have never actually read the book; audiobook was the right route for me! Rosamund pike is a brilliant narrator. So much so I am starting to think her casting as Jane in the film adaptation was an error and she would have made a better Elizabeth. She captures a little of what Jennifer Ehle put into the role, but adds her own interpretation.

Absolutely loved it

Rosamund did an amazing job, I particularly loved her impresion of Mrs. Bennet. As english is not my first language I did have to go back to listen more carefully a few times, but thats due to the writting and not the reading itself. All in all I loved it!

Even more delightful

This has always been a favourite book but with Rosamund Pike narration it is even more delightful. She is very adept at male and female voices and her style of narration was superb. I cannot recommend this highly enough and I think it is now my favourite audible book.

Beautiful book, beautifully read

P&P is my all-time favourite book and I read it at least once a year, so thought it'd be a nice change to listen to it this time. Rosamund Pike gives a wonderfully nuanced performance which perfectly captures each character individually. Loved it. :)
