listened to the first two chapters but struggled to get past that due to the narration. the voice sounds robotic and quiet, my mind started wondering and I just wasn’t enjoying the narrator

I listened to the first chapter but struggled to get past it due to the narration. I'm not sure if it was over processed or what but the voice sounds really robotic and there is a lot of hissing in the background so I found it very annoying.

The story (from what i heard) seems intriguing so I will most likely just get it on my Kindle and read it myself when I get chance.
