Don’t Purchase

Awful, certainly not for people with anxiety! Stories are not very nice or well narrated.

Keeps repeating sentences over and over.

I loved the idea of this, but every story repeats the same sentences over and over again. Not relaxing at all, sounds like a glitch in the recording.

Dreadful

Truly Awful. Poorly written, worse narration was not good to sleep too, maybe for torture....

I’m not 6 years old

I’ve only got as far as 2nd story, and don’t wish to listen to anymore. Adult stories! The tone of the talking is aimed at a child’s bedtime story, I couldn’t stand listening to anymore.

Awful stilted narration

Don’t bother. So distracting. I can’t listen anymore. It’s like someone who is illiterate. Horrible.

Not my cup of tea.

Doesn't come across as aimed at Adults for me.
Seems quite basic. Almost preschooler.

Weird, nonsensical at times sinister.

Not at all as described! Written in bad English, violent themes, strange stories for sleep.

Wouldn't recommend

Her.voice is quite annoying, but the main thing is that,
Not sure.if a glitch or not.but at some points through the story she will repeat the same line about three times. Most.annoying

This audiobook is very helpful

This audiobook expands our soul and relaxes our mind and our bodies so that we can peacefully transition into a trance state, and from that trance state into a serene and peaceful and rejuvenating sleep.

Fake reviews

Strange stories not uplifting to put in your head as you drift to sleep. Reading the reviews I’m convinced most are fake and written in the same broken English.

Should be Scary Bedtime Stories

The first story about death and abuse. And the next story about a butt. What in the world? This was a horrible book. I couldn't even continue the second story.

AWFULLLLLLL

Adult ????? By far the worst narration and story book on audible. This is good for a 5 year old. Why they say it's for adults ...who knows.

Not what I expected

I was disappointed by the stories. They were described as stress reducing but the topics were narrow and actually caused me stress. I didn’t want to hear bible stories or life lessons and that is what this audible book delivers. I made a bad choice for myself but the description and the title of this book threw me off.
Maybe you’ll like it if you like bible stories at bedtime. Not for me though.

Not for me...

I cannot fairly rate the stories because I was unable to get past the narrators voice. Her voice was not conducive of relaxation at all.

NIGHTMARE!

Why would we be subjected to horror stories when we are trying to unwind and be lulled off to sleep? Hunting and killing boys?Coffins prepared for boys to be killed if the queen gave birth to son #13? Why??? Narration leaves much to be desired. I would recommend that the author listens and confirms that reading is accurate to author’s written words. I never write reviews, but last night I was very highly disturbed by what I was hearing. I waited to see if it was a joke but unfortunately it continued to gross me out. Had a difficult time getting to sleep.

creepy

You fall asleep quickly, it took waking up three times before I realized I was listening to stories about demonic presence, murder and other creepy things.

Weird. Terrible.

The stories are Grimm fairy tales (at least the first two...I stopped listening halfway through the second story). The stories seem like maybe they were poorly translated? In the first one, they refer to the Queen's daughter as "him" and speak of "his" fortune...later the sons say that if the come across a girl, they will kill him. It's jarring. Some segments repeat 3 times for no reason. Later the narrator refers to the eleven brothers several times not as "the eleven" but as "the elves." (I looked up the actual story just to make sure that there are no elves in this story). The second story skips a whole section, so that it does doesn't make sense. And again there are parts that repeat for no reason (again I checked against the original to make sure the section isn't supposed to repeat). The stories are not remotely relaxing in themselves, and all the mistakes just make them annoying. Pass this one up!

Agree with creepy

It put me to sleep and I slept well, but stories were creepy. When comments say there were religious undertones, just to clarify they were not Christian undertones but rather evil ugly undertones. One phrase references hunting animals and little boys for the youngest brother to cook up for them. I thought the repeating phrases and weird word choices were a way of causing the brain to shut down but the stories were weird. Will try a different book and delete this one.
