A bit weird

I wish I could have listened to a short clip before purchasing, because I probably pull the have. I don’t feel like it is suitable for adults. On the other hand it was so dull and monotonous that I did fall asleep quickly. So I guess it works.

Sweet dreams... NOT.

Fell asleep listening to the first couple tracks and slept through the rest of the book. I had nightmares each night I listened and couldn't understand why. Listened to the whole book while I was awake and NO WONDER. Stories of shape shifting and spell casting came in the later chapters. Even some of the stories that did not carry these themes were not relaxing, but rather carried dark feelings by the way they are written... Talking about darkness falling, plunging into water, standing in and surround by deep ocean waters, things that can illicit significant feelings of insecurity while trying to relax. This is unlike any relaxation or self healing type meditation i have heard before and is, frankly, the worst I've heard.

Disappointing

This was advertized as stories. Stories have plots...these are simply, for the most part, sensory descriptions. The narrator has the perfect pitch and tone but, I would have enjoyed an actual story.

wonderful sleep

I love the story and the peaceful but interesting dreams I had after listening. I used a sleep timer and took quite a few nights to finish. For someone who has a hard time shutting off my brain to sleep this story definitely helped.

I really appreciate this book

I really appreciate this book. I searched for some time trying to find different translations of Meditations to get a better grasp of the concepts in the book. Thanks for the author for this excellent guideline.

Elegantly composed and intriguing.

Being a "professional insomniac," I have stacks of relaxation tapes and CDs, hypnotherapy, white noise, ocean surf, etc. Most are grating or just not helpful. I LOVE this CD! I fall asleep listening to it. Amazing guide!

The voice is irritating

The voice is irritating. Her whispering is distracting from the story. The stories aren't engaging or interesting. Very disappointed.
