I like the story but the balance is all wrong
- By Miss on 21-09-18
Summary
Aesop's Fables are stories based on allegories and caricatures featuring mostly animals. These stories got the collective name Aesop’s Fables from the person who collected the stories. Aesop, popularly believed to have been a Phrygian slave, collected his fables sometime around the sixth century BC. Whatever his real story may be, the fables he collected feature valuable lessons.
This audiobook contains six famous fables by Aesop as given below:
- The Boy Who Cried Wolf
- The Ant and the Grasshopper
- The Fox and the Crow
- The Fox and the Grapes
- The Hare and the Tortoise
- The Honest Woodcutter
Additionally, you’ll get Little Red Riding Hood, the classic fairy tale. Isn’t that great?
Like classic fairy tales, fables are a great source of bedtime stories for kids. While classic fairy tales were written with small children in mind, fables were written to educate children of all ages.
Containing retelling of six of Aesop’s adopted fables, this audiobook will be the ideal gift for your kids.
We hope you enjoyed the audiobook preview. Get the full audiobook now!

A good influence to kids.
Just found a terrific selection! I love the narration because it brings the story alive. As we love to travel, this is perfect for passing the time on long car rides. One night, I got home late from work and found my youngest completely dozed off as she was playing this audio book. I must say, this is one of the strongest children story books I’d like my kids to treasure.

These classic fairy tales are awesome.
There are few adverts about Nayomi’s other books in between each short story. Little annoying, but I get to know about her other books. All of them looks good. I’m going try them this weekend. Thanks Nayomi for writing awesome story books.

What fun!
“There is a time for work and a time for play!” I would hear my daughter say it out loud every now and then. She grew fond of the stories from this audio book and her personal favorite was about the ant and the grasshopper. I find her so cute whenever she end up sleeping while she’s with this book. =)

Before I let my children listen to this, i tried it first and was impressed. Its a nice collection that children will be able to relate with because of the animal characters. What better way to begin our new year than to listen to moral lessons that will guide us starting our 2019 right.
