Tom McCallister has been in love with his best friend Lyla for as long as he can remember, but what would be the point of telling her that? Here's a fun romcom type story. Our hero has messed up, losing his girl and his job, and takes the plane to New York, where Lyla, his close friend at school and college, is living. Unfortunately, she's only interested in the female of our species, and Tom is, well, a man. An older woman sits next to him on the plane, and he confides his situation to her. After that, he falls asleep, and, when he wakes up, big changes have happened, to him, the clothes he is wearing, and indeed the clothes in his suitcase. He's 100% female now. Lyla, who'd come to the airport to meet him, takes some convincing that she is, or was, Tom... and while they obviously are attracted to one another, Tom, or Jessica, doesn't know if this is just a temporary change - but a further encounter with that fellow passenger will, perhaps, explain it all...
