I have enjoyed this book very much indeed- The author weaves events and characters together around threats and promises- young and old, different races with different hopes and challenges, all with their own distinct mouth watering food cultures and all in the name of love.

It was a slow story but worth it. Lots of internal monologue from the two FMCs. In the end they get together

I enjoyed this so much it was difficult for me to leave it be. The characters pulled me in. I loved being part of this journey. Excellent writing from a wonderful Author.

A lovely story of hard work and possibilities - in relation to love as well as the rest! I love the detail KK includes in her novels and I always finish with thinking I not only read an enjoyable novel but also learnt something. The fact that the stories are beautifully read is an added bonus.
