Summary

A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she's determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother's gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he's skeptical about this challenge of Hanna's…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can't forget. Now that Hanna's discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it's up to Will to prove he's the only man she'll ever need.

Big brothers bad boy best friend oooh its good!

Would you consider the audio edition of Beautiful Player to be better than the print version?

Chapters switch between the two lead characters and the plot is from both their perspectives
Will is that boy who ignored you when you were a kid, the one who is too dangerous to fall for but what is he falls for you?

What did you like best about this story?

Will was irresitable

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Sebastian York ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I haven't heard these narrate before but I loved them both, and i hope to encounter them again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked Wills relationships with his friends particularly Max

wonderful story

Loved Will and Hannah. Her nerdiness and his hot player status made for the perfect swoony romance.

Best of the series

This is my favourite of the Beautiful series as Will and Hannah are my favourite couple. The story makes me laugh in the humourous parts. Grace and Sebastian have done some excellent work here as usual. I love that the chapters are written from either Will or Hannah's perspective, although I would prefer it if these types of narration were recorded with the men speaking all the male character's dialogue and the women speaking all the female character's dialogue.
I understand a previous comment which described a displeasure of the English accents portrayed here, I dont hate them but do prefer Jonathan Cole's version of Max's accent from earlier and later books in any case.

Beautiful, funny and touching.

After reading dozens of romances, there are only a few that are staying with me. The story of Hannah and Will is on the top five.
Just read it! Can't recommend enough.

Funny sexy story

Funnier than I expected it to be. I really enjoyed it's predecessor and this didn't disappoint either.
Great story line and lead characters. A small point that bothered me was that in the beginning she was pushed into socialising by her brother, but later it was written as if it was her idea - work focused geeks dot just change, I think it would have been more believable if she (Hannah) was a slightly more reluctant player.
Fabulous narration.

Super sexy

Any additional comments?

Absolutely love this series so far. This is the third book in the series, and again doesn't disappoint. Will and Hanna have fantastic chemistry. As per previous books, beautifully written. Love that we are kept informed also with regards to the characters in the previous books.

My favourite Christina Lauren book so far

Absolutely LOVED this book... Best of the series so far! Only downside was the distractingly poor but amusing attempt at a British accent! Would highly recommend.

Best book in the 'Beautiful bastard' series

What did you like most about Beautiful Player?

The writing was much more polished that the previous two books. Will was a great character, he was the perfect blend of charming and cocky.
I liked Hanna a lot, her dialogue was fantastic. She pretty much said what ever was on her mind.
The story flowed at such a great pace. There was no run on sentences and everything was described just right, i hate when authors over describe or stay on one topic for far too long.

There were just enough sex scenes to make this a steamy New Adult read

It was nice to see all the characters from the series in this book. Max was quite funny.

What other book might you compare Beautiful Player to, and why?

Hothouse flower by Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie - Its a similar situation where a slightly older friend has a connection to his best friends younger sister. The dialogue is very good in Hothouse flowers too.

What does Grace Grant and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

The narrators bring the story to life and i could imagine it as a movie.
I'm not sure if Sebastian York's voice was right for charming handsome Will's character.
Grace Grant sounded just right.

Any additional comments?

In my opinion this is the best book in the series and i think people will be surprised by how much the authors have matured as writers. It is well written and engaging.

Steamy....

If you could sum up Beautiful Player in three words, what would they be?

Hot Hot Hot

What did you like best about this story?

Let's face it the best thing has to be Will! It's a light hearted romp with a lot of humour which is made funnier because I just keep wondering about the man reading and what on earth he must be thinking reading what is essential porn for women(a little twisted I know lol)

What does Grace Grant and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I liked Graces narration but Sebastian has a voice to die for, together they made an excellent team. I know that just reading alone would not have given the characters such life if the just existed in my heD.

Any additional comments?

This book has a lot of sex in it but it's also really really funny in places, I love Hannahs inability to stop her thoughts just falling from her mouth and wills reaction to her is hot and sweet all at once. The narration was truly one of the best I've heard on audible.
