Utterly gripping

I devoured this series of episodes over a few evenings eager to find out what happens next. The actors brought the characters to life and made it all seem more real. One of the best dramatizations I've listened to for a long time. Highly recommended.

Immersive plot

This is the second Louis Nowra production I’ve listened to and this one is every bit as good as ‘ The Goodbye Party’ . Great story with twists and turns to keep you interested, the actors were spot on for the era .

Frustrating

I couldn’t decide why I didn’t really like it and it was because I didn’t want to any of the characters. So I didn’t care what happened to them.

Enjoyable mystery with good voice acting

I have really enjoyed all the material I've listened to from this author. Likewise, I found this series an enjoyable listen. It has a an enjoyable plot which reminded me a little of a reworking of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution. It's not necessarily groundbreaking, but a lot of fun.

good story

enjoyed this twisty tale. loved the music however it was disproportionately loud compared to the dialogue so had to keep turning volume down then back up.
