Absolutely loved this. Whilst listening to this, Captain Sandy has helped me find my inner strength as a leader and a human again. The stories and lessons in this book are transferable, I am definitely not a captain, I’m a young leader in health care who struggles with mental health but listening has helped me regain my confidence and faith in my place. I’m finding my ‘true north’ again. Everyone striving to be the best person they can be or in positions of influence should read/listen to these words.

This was the right book at the right time for me. I enjoyed every second of it, I just wish it had been longer. As a fan of the show it was great to get to know Sandy as person, sharing her story must not have been easy however it will inspire and benefit so many. Even those who haven’t watched the show will find tools and lessons for leadership whether in business or their personal lives. 5 stars from me. Can’t wait for the next instalment!
