Summary

If the Pacific falls to the Chinese, they will be one step closer to dominating all of Asia.

A line has been drawn in the sand - if there is any hope of stemming Operation Red Storm, the Philippines cannot be conquered. Will the Allies be able to hold their ground in this intense sea battle?

Reeling from the loss of two aircraft carriers, the US is forced to move its carriers from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific. Will additional ships from the Atlantic Fleet and the new railguns on the Zumwalt-class destroyers be enough to overcome the drone and cruise missile swarms of the Chinese navy? Or will the sheer numbers of incoming munitions simply overtake the Allied forces?

Battlefield Pacific is the highly anticipated fourth book in the Red Storm geopolitical military thriller series. If you like pulse-pounding combat scenes, rich characters, and unpredictable twist and turns, you’ll love James Rosone and Miranda Watson’s newest addition to the series.

Uncover some of the deeper threads that have been woven in Russia and China’s master plot. With the addition of India and Indonesia to their alliance, will the democracies of the West be able to stand against the dictatorial regimes of the East? Grab your copy of Battlefield Pacific to join the action and find out.

The Red Storm Series is best enjoyed when read in the correct order as each book builds on the previous work.

Guide for narrators - just read the book

I've enjoyed the first books in the series and they were well narrated. B.J. Harrison has done the last books and I'm not even sure I want to listen to them.. I don't understand why readers insist on "spicing things up" with various terrible accents. Terrible southern accents, even worse Chinese and Russian accents are like fingernails on a chalk board.

Listening to a Chinese general using a non-accented English voice is far better than listening to a terrible attempt at a Chinese accent. I'll probably finish the series but Harrison has joined the list of readers that I won't listen to.

Wow, just wow.

Great story excellently told. There were quite a few moments when I thought about turning it off as the story not only kept me gripped but illicited no little anxiety regarding the outcome. I can't wait for the next installment.

Great series if you can get past the new narrator.

Narration was so bad I almost quit the series. Accents were terrible. Narration in first few books was great.

interesting followup

i enjoy the action scenes depected in the book combine wuth great performance it goes way beyond any action movie. The book mostly lacks better char dev, as it seens author only provides shallow descriptions which dont give any incenrive to follow thet story arcs. Finally i can say this series feels very one sided and most chars are 1 dimensional, i'm not even saying about pro american themes which gives a feeling that they r perfect, esp. in this book, while in 1st one author seemed to at least try show some challenges, tge further story goes the more it looks to be just western power lore.

Hate narrator changes

I HATE when they change narrators in the middle of a series. it changes the whole story when characters tone and pitch are different. the pace of the story changes.

Please tell me we are not this stupid

Love the book and series. If our military and intelligence services are half as naive and gullible as these authors make them out to be. We are in trouble.

Returning to the Pacific

I have always wondered how a Pacific Conflict with the Chinese would pan out. Yes, the authors did not disappoint in the very least. Harsh jungles, not so friendly entrenched Chicom forces. Definitely filled in a gap. Someday, James Rosone and Miranda Watson should commission a war journal or book showing detailed engagements like you would see in the Osprey series.

No easy time.

One of the main reasons I've stayed with the series is they dont coddle the U.S. military like so many others do.
There is just enough military talk and a lot of action to keep me here.
Well worth the money.
