Einar has done what many thought was impossible and earned an alliance with the elves of Alfheim.

Now Odin has a new quest for him, go to Nidavellir, the realm of the dwarves. His task remains the same, build an alliance and find a way to stop the coming of Ragnarok.

However, the dwarves have no reason to trust the Vikings. For generations, Midgard has failed to honor the old promises between the realms and the dwarves have paid the price.

Einar and his warband need things that can only be provided by the dwarves, but they won't oblige simply because he asks.

So far, all of the 3 books in the series were incredible. Often times, litRPGs are one man armies, invincible and never challenged. Here, Einar is sometimes treated like an unstoppable beast, but more often than not, the success depends on his allies. He's powerful, full of potential and so much protection from the gods, but still one man. Which in turn makes the world feel like it's alive and not just simulation for 1 person.
