Summary

Why sell your soul when you can rent it?

Mark Vedis is an average cop. Average for a mage in the Paranormal Police Department (PPD), anyway. After years of doing the jobs nobody else wanted, his career, and life, seemed to be on hold.

Then he met a foul-mouthed demon who filled him with power, turned him into a warlock, and dumped him into a world of wealth and debauchery that was disturbing at best.

When an enemy strikes who is far beyond what the cops in the PPD have ever seen, Mark is forced to travel to Thailand and face threats from all sides.

But he soon learns that the chief of the Bangkok PPD is on the take, the local mafia is stirring up trouble, two of his team members have already been killed, and his new partners have trouble keeping their clothes on in public. Okay, the public nudity is probably the least of his worries.

Worst of all, everyone in the supernatural community despises what he's become.

To them, warlock is a dirty word.

But they haven't seen how dirty he can get....

Note: This audiobook contains adult themes and language. It's also loaded with sexual innuendo, juvenile humor, and bloodshed. Consider yourself warned!

Silly humour all the way through

I was given a free copy of this for an honest review. It’s a nice addition to the PPD series. It’s not my favourite of them but it’s a decent book. It’s silly humour which, lets face it, is why you read this authors work. I like the development of the character as the story progresses. He goes from being a push over with no ambition to an ass kicking hero

A banging good book

I bought this book when it was first released and found it to be a great read. Having just finished listening to one of the authors reading it, I can safely say it was fantastic. Lots of twists and turns, plenty of action and above all the comedy is off the charts.
I was sent this book by the author to review it truthfully, and I can truthfully say you can’t go wrong buy it and see.

Awesome pair of authors

Ok I really like these authors anyway but hadn't really listened to a audiobook narrated by John O Logsdon before, didn't realise how much I was missing . Awesome narrator and writer , bit sure there is much he can't do. Full if character and humour and just really good at what he does.

Fantastic!

Once again, the PPD is fighting monsters and making inappropriate jokes. Very funny, great action scenes, and wonderful writing. The narration is off the charts good. Not all narrators bring the story to life, but Logston always does.

love it!

Great story and narration. The whole family enjoyed it, including the creative cursing. Prepare for action and laughter, the best combination.

Great story with plenty of Juvenile humor that doesn't hinder the depth of the characters! I hope the rest of the books will get produced in audio!

Another great story from The PPD

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review and wow was I happy it was this book!

The Paranormal Police Department has headquarters around the world. This is one of their stories. Be aware, this is part of a larger PPD series and it is not the first book in that overall story. Start with the Las Vegas PPD books for that. This can however still be read on its own if you want to.

There is a lot of adult humor in this which kept my attention, I usually gravitate towards humorous reads. It's fast paced and hard to put down. I can honestly recommend the whole series.

Wacky characters that exceed my expectations!

This book was so good I hope they voice the rest of the series... I would be first in line to purchase them. I bought the next two books to read but the voice actor's voice is what I hear in my head when reading them! Bought the Netherworld series with same author right before this review... I'll tell you if I like them!
