Story Synopses  

"Chirya Chiray ki Kahaani": Little Chirya gets into all sorts of scrapes after lying about eating all the food at home. 

"Chun Chun ki Museebat": Chun Chun the chick gobbles a berry that gets stuck in his throat, and his poor mother sets off to find him a drink of water. Will she get to him on time? 

"Dilchusp Muqaabla": A smart tailor uses his wits to get out of trouble when he and his friends land up in a giant’s palace. 

"Jaadu ki Angoothi": Nilofer earns an award when she helps the king of gnomes, but the gift is only useful if she breaks her terrible habit of bragging. 

"Khargosh ki Aqlmundi": The rabbit must outwit the sly fox to save his skin and prevent himself from becoming a sumptuous meal for her. 

"Parinda Kaisay Pakra": Hippity Hop would love to have a beautiful bird sing for him, but the bird refuses to be caught. Can his friends Tippity Tip, Mickey the Mouse, Chakra the Cow, Ainda the Goat, and Thomas the Toad devise ways to catch the bird? 

"Sheikh Chilli ne Seekhi Angrezi": Sheikh Chilli is desperate to learn a few words of English so he may converse with the Englishmen in his country. But his newfound knowledge earns him more trouble than he expects. 

"Sheikh Chilli ne Roza Rakha": The first roza (fast) in the month of Ramzan unsettles Sheikh Chilli as he desperately waits for the end of the fast. 

"Sonay ka Ghora": The young prince sets off on a journey but is separated from his brothers. What follows is an adventure where he finds his captive brothers, tackles a Djinn, and frees his brothers with the help of a golden horse.
