About this listen

It’s the Fall of 1986, and Phoebe Miller is a rock journalist for Titanium Magazine. Her newest assignment involves following Damien Bell and his band, Revolver, on their last North American tour before they head back into the studio to record their sophomore album.

Damien is loud, obnoxious, has a reputation for excess, and he hates journalists, but he seems to have a soft spot hidden beneath all of that bravado.

Phoebe prefers to be a fly on the wall, but she has a nasty habit of falling for men who she knows will break her heart.

Quickly, Damien and Phoebe find themselves pulled into a tumultuous and fiery mutual attraction that can’t be ignored— one that puts Phoebe’s job and her journalistic integrity on the line.

Babydoll is BOOK ONE in the INTERCONNECTED Revolver Duet. You must listen to the books in order.

I’ve always loved Babydoll since the release of the book and I enjoyed Everly’s interpretation of the characters in this audio form!

I loved Babydoll. The setting in the 80s and how Thea depicted it, with the habits that seem so far away from us, and yet send us back to our childhood, immersing us so well in the ambiance of the tour of a rock band. It was done so beautifully.
The characters have more emotional intelligence than most people, and it's so cool to read about it!
The story is sweet, the supportive characters are so cool, I genuinely want to be friends with them.
Be aware, the level of spice in this book is through the roof.
The book finished not on a cliffhanger, but you definitely want to grab book 2 after that (and thankfully, it's already available on ebook and paperback, so no waiting time).

🎧 The narrator was really good at doing different voices, making it clear who was speaking, especially during the charged dialogue parts; however, I struggled a bit with the voice used for the FMC (but that's personal preference).
Babydoll was another gem like Thea Lawrence knows how to write, so grab your headset and be ready to be transported into a love story from the past.
