Summary

Does your baby refuse to sleep, wake up every 30 minutes during the night, or always wake up too early in the morning? Are you desperate to let your baby sleep without crying so you yourself can get some rest? Then keep reading....

Almost nobody tells you about the impact of the sleep-depriving nights for weeks or months in a row. Rocking your baby to sleep for an hour only to get him or her waking up 25 minutes later. Even without a sleep problem, your newborn hasn’t developed the right hormone balance yet to follow the day-and-night rhythm in the first three months.

But how does that leave you?

Maybe you feel like a living zombie. You are afraid that you cannot take care of your newborn because of the sleep you are missing.

All moms and dads have been there. Some worse than others. You are in the middle of it. Don’t worry, there has been a great amount of research done and studies on practical and healthy ways to get your baby to sleep independently. As a help for all sleep-deprived moms, it’s my duty to share everything I learned dealing with my three babies.

In Baby Sleep Training you will discover:

  • The step-by-step baby sleep training methods and how to teach your baby to fall asleep within 10 minutes based on the baby’s age
  • Easy to understand facts about how a healthy baby should sleep so you can see how yours is doing
  • To-the-point tips and tricks for your baby’s daytime naps
  • How to handle sleep regressions when the baby grows for reasons like growing teeth and food reflux.
  • The unknown effects of sleep deprivation on your baby’s health and on your health and the newest methods you can use to prevent this

Bonus material

  • The truth about parents' sleep deprivation and tips and measures you can take to minimize the effects
  • Practical sleep hygiene for both babies and moms
  • Includes advice for babies who need to be rocked, need a soother or pacifier, wake up too early, wake up too frequently, or don’t want to go to sleep at all
  • Common baby sleep problems you can discuss with your pediatrician

All the information you will find is based on scientific evidence.

Every baby is different. Regarding baby sleep there is no such thing as one size fits all. The training offered in this book gives you the flexibility and room to give your own swing to it.

Do yourself and your baby a big favor. Stop searching hours on the Internet, stop scrolling the long lists of books, and start training your baby to sleep 12 hours every night and get back your well-deserved sleep.

You and your baby have suffered more than enough.

Easy reading, and quality information

Easy listening to and quality information to help learn about your babies Definitely can help parents who are exhausted and just need help with how to sleep train their baby in a week or less. This book is nice because it goes right to the point and doesn't overwhelm you with too much sleep information like some of the other sleep books do.

An invaluable asset to all parents!

This book, written by a registered nurse, would make a great gift for new parents who want to get their babies sleeping through the night. It is chock full of tips on establishing a daily routine, creating a great sleep environment, handling crying and night wakings, and more. Even if you don't want to do full-on 7-day training or don't agree with all of the author's tactics, there will be some tips all parents can take away from this book!

It WORKS!!!

One of the things I was dreading about being a parent is the lack of sleep. I do not function well with no sleep and it was killing me once I went back to work. I was falling asleep in meetings and feeling irritable and frustrated all the time. This book has been a lifesaver for me! And to top it off the actual process was not hard and I was even able to do the whole program alone while my husband was away.

Highly recommend this book!

There is so much literature out there on sleep training. What do you pick? Of course, something that is easy to read and can be done in a day to start practicing, especially if you get desperate! I read babywise but this book summarizes Bw in 5 mins. Haven't started training yet but I know it will work.

I can’t say enough good things about it

A lot of the philosophy is to do what works for you and read the signs from your baby. I also like that there is medical research to back their claims as well as home testimony. I recommend this book to ANY new parent so that they can realize that babies aren't a dog you are supposed to train, but a human being who has their quirks, their schedules, and their way of doing things. Fantastic book!

Would highly suggest

I am a father of two. This book helped me a ton in giving me ideas on how and what to do. It was never forceful or told me that I had to do things just gave me great options and ideas.

Informative, interesting, and insightful.

This book is my Baby Bible! It was my touchstone with my first child and, as a result, made me feel pretty confident for my second. Attachment parenting has helped my high needs baby become a lovable toddler and my people-pleasing wallflower gain confidence.

I LOVE this book

I LOVE this book. I received it as a baby shower gift and it was my reference for the first few months after my baby's birth. So much easier than Googling every baby thing and being sent to blogs (especially as a first-time mom). I found this helpful during my first month of breastfeeding, introducing solid foods, etc. I have been purchasing it as my go-to gift for any of my friends that are expecting.

Wonderful!!

My daughter and son in law used this book for our grandson who they adopted through the foster system. He was 9 months old when he came to them and had terrible sleep habits- he only slept for a half-hour or hour at a time. We were prepared to take up to a week but within 2-3 days, he was sleeping 12 hours a night with a 2 hour day nap and has been sleeping like this for the past year. Highly recommend this book!

Easy read- to the point

Basic points that are in most baby sleep books but in a much faster easy to understand format. I loved it
