Summary
Are you living with borderline personality disorder? Did you grow up in a home with a parent who has borderline disorder? Does it affect your relationship and cause tension or stress? Would you like to learn coping strategies that will help you to deal with the issues you face?
Living with any mental condition is hard enough, but when you have to deal with it while trying to have a successful relationship at the same time, it can present a whole new set of problems.
Borderline personality disorder is a serious condition, where sufferers can fear abandonment, have impulsive and destructive behaviors, or experience extreme emotional swings. It creates instability in relationships, but can be treated.
Living with anyone who is narcissistic or who has a borderline disorder is difficult enough. When that person is a parent and someone who you had no choice but to put up with, it becomes even harder. Young lives can be forever affected by their behavior, and it can lead to other issues later on.
In this audiobook BPD Workbooks: 2 Books in 1, you can gain a much better understanding of BPD and with it, find ways to live a happier life, through chapters that cover:
- The root causes of BPD
- The symptoms and the value of early diagnosis
- Exploding the myths about BPD
- The eight steps to controlling it
- Mindfulness interventions and activities
- Learning how to forgive yourself and others
- Tips and techniques for building self-esteem
- Understanding that it is not your fault
- The importance of individual identity
- Learning how to say no
- How to deal with conflict
- Regaining your trust in others
- Living up to your own expectations
- Finding your courage
- Learning forgiveness
- And more...
The trauma you experienced as a child growing up in the presence of a parent with borderline disorder is not something that should define who you are now. Instead, you can embrace what has happened, learn from it, and use it to move on to a new chapter in life.
BPD can be a debilitating and distressing condition. For anyone who has found themselves suffering from it, there can seem to be no answer or an end to the destructiveness it brings.
But with BPD Workbooks: 2 Books in 1, you can find ways to combat the negative feelings you experience and build a much happier and stronger relationship. This is what you deserve, and this book will help you make it happen!

BPD - help for families, friends and loved ones.
"Overcoming BPD is “learning how to manage your emotions”. The book is full of wonderful insights and information on how we learn and what we didn’t learn if we have BPD. Not only are there ideas on how to accept your emotions, but how to learn to understand what you are thinking, feeling and wanting. For the families, friends, and loved ones of those with Borderline Personality Disorder the book helps identify areas that we can help. Yet it also points out that ultimately, it is up to the patient to be mindful of their goals, progress, and behaviors."

Very helpful and easy to listen!
This book made it easier to understand BPD from a Stefanie's point of view. It also was more positive about outcomes, unlike other material I had seen. I highly recommend it, because it is very hopeful, in a realistic way, to people whose lives are touched by BPD

Great for crisis reduction
I love this book so much.It is great for me. The biggest problems with BPD are understanding and coping with crises. This book effectively addresses both issues. I found it very helpful.

Easy to listen and Not Offensive
I do not like mental health books that act like the audience is someone incompetent. This book is both informative and shows the many different ideas about BPD. I am glad I got it because the internet has a lot of false information. If you or someone you love has this I highly recommend it!

Knowledge is Good
This is the great book that i ever saw. What I loved is the extent to which they really explained BPD, each aspect of it, what to expect and they used real situations/people for example.

A Must for anyone with BPD or loves someone
This is one of the most comprehensive and understandable books on Borderline Personality Disorder that has been published. It is a must listen for therapists' and patients alike, who work with or suffer from BPD. I found the book extraordinary. It describes the disorder, enabling anyone who listens it to understand what goes on inside the world of a Borderline. This is an informative source on BPD, in simple form, that will help anyone, lay or professional.

First BPD Book
I actually enjoyed listening this book. It stays easy to listen even when talking about some pretty technical topics. It covers a lot of info, including an introduction to the different kinds of medication a doctor might prescribe and why.

Most Helpful Book So Far
This book has been more helpful than a couple other books I've listen on BPD. It offers a very realistic yet positive perspective on the disorder and provides practical, useful information for coping with the various difficulties associated with the disorder. This book has proven to be useful for both someone diagnosed with the disorder and that person's significant other. It is easy to listen and feels like a helpful first step on the road to treatment and a better quality of life.

Good resource
This book is easy to listen and understand. A good way to learn about helping those with borderline personality disorder. Great for mental health professionals and counseling & social work students, as well as for clients and families. A great "starter course" for those interested in knowing more about this personality disorder.

Must listen for BPD's!
I love this book and it was a great book to help me understand my disorder, and overcome the fear of the unknown. When you allow yourself to be open to learn, you unravel a new side of you that is openminded to change. Accept the things you can not change, and learn to embrace your "fears". By doing so, life will become less difficult, and you will see that it is not as bad as you originally thought it would be.

Informative
"This is the first information that I've researched on BPD that does not label sufferers as manipulators and bad people. They accurately describe the illness, the possible sources, and the ways to cope with it. It describes the difficulties of the sufferers and those that love them. Having recently been diagnosed with this disorder, I am trying to learn all I can about it and how to help myself. This is the only resource that I have come upon that has dealt with this disorder in a sensitive manner. It gives hope to the sufferer and understands that this is not something we had a choice about. It is a great guide for those who care about someone with this illness to learn how their mind works and how to best reach them."

Great book
Very good entry point if you have just been diagnosed. The book audio in super simple terms, with intentional repetitions to get important points across to potentially anxious minds! The only thing I was disapointed in was that they did not cover anything to do with finding your identity, such as being able to set goals and the like.
