Scripture — Psalm 28:7 (BSB): “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I give thanks to Him with my song.” Prayer Themes: Strength • Courage • Trust Has the morning already demanded more strength than you expected? Perhaps a difficult conversation, an unexpected responsibility or an unanswered prayer has left you feeling stretched. Welcome to this uplifting mid-morning prayer for strength and courage with Reverend Ben Cooper of DailyPrayer.uk, London, England. David declares that the Lord is his strength and shield. His confidence is not in an easy life but in a faithful God. Through Jesus Christ, we can face demanding hours with courage, humility and hope.Today we stand alongside the United Kingdom, Ghana, South Korea, Germany, India, Zimbabwe, Spain and the Philippines. Almighty Father, You are our refuge when the pressures of life begin to rise. We turn our hearts towards You. Lord Jesus, strengthen those entering difficult meetings, caring for vulnerable relatives or carrying responsibilities nobody else can see. Give courage to speak truth with kindness and wisdom to remain silent when anger would cause harm. Holy Spirit, steady our minds and renew our patience. Where discouragement has weakened our resolve, remind us of Your enduring faithfulness. Where pride has hardened our hearts, teach us humility. Give us strength to forgive, perseverance to continue and compassion to notice the suffering around us. May our workplaces, homes and churches become places where the love of Christ is visible. We do not ask for courage so that others will admire us, but so that we may serve You faithfully. God of Israel, be our strength and shield throughout this day. In Jesus’ powerful name, Amen. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos. Que Deus te abençoe. Que Dios te bendiga. שלום וברכה — Shalom u’vracha.
