Kyle and Chloe are desperate to get out of Manhattan and away from the vampires and zombies that infest the island. Along the way, Kyle is reunited with a kickass co-worker, Joan, who takes charge of getting them out of the city. They make a harrowing journey over the suspension cables of the destroyed George Washington Bridge. Chloes vampire father attacks them again on the vertiginous heights of one of the bridge towers. They know he will follow them. They escape to upstate New York, but the vampires return. They have adopted sunproof clothing and have taken over military armaments from a nearby army base. Kyle, Joan and Chloe are attacked by armored vehicles and chased by vees using automatic weapons. Worse, the vees are using the zombies as guards to herd hundreds of despondent humans to a concentration camp where they will be used for food and blood.©2025 Brad Goldberg (P)2026 Brad Goldberg
