Fantastic series
Narrations were fantastic
Suspense , humour, heartache , tears , pride, frustration … anguish …. Oh the world building twists, I plots and depth of deceptions run deep!!

I finished the first three books in as many days. The character development, the friendship, the pain. I have audibly laughed, cried and gasped throughout all three and cannot simply wait util the 4th book!

My first 5 stars since Fourth Wing

I listened to it in two days. That’s all you need to know. Plot was plotting, tension there and I loved the world expanding. Can’t wait to get next book!

They did it again!!!

Yet another butchered series in favour of prolonging the end! What was that? The first 75% of the book, a filler and nothing more. Everything happens pretty much in the last 100 pages, ripetitive, annoying and absolutely useless internal monologues, a heroine that's supposed to have unlimited wells of power, and yet can't protect her friends when there is a need, but sometimes she can kill everyone, giants or otherwise. The stupidest death i have ever read, of one of the best side characters. Nope. I read the first 2 books, i liked them, but this whole book is a filler. A disappointment really, the story had a lot of potential, but i will not be reading the next book. If you haven't started the series, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Once again, the want for money, prevails against writing good books. I'm so angry, i've waited for it wanting to see how the story would end, instead there is a 4th one, and this was one of the worst books i've ever read. I take no pleasure in writing this review, but sometimes authors need to hear the truth, especially when their fan base is the one to give them the cold shoulders. I'm sorry. After this i will never read another of Aria Ashbrook's book.

I detest not finishing a story so will always buy all the books in a series before I start reading, BUT this is another cliffhanger with no information about another book to come, SO FRUSTRATING and if another book does come along I will have forgotten the story so far. I am so disappointed
