Mentions of suicide, feelings of abject despair, feelings of loss, mentions of depression.
Okay, so this is the one single episode I didn't want to write, but its a milestone episode, for a milestone in this podcast. Its 12 months since I properly began Spellboundish.
Its not your usual episode, it deals with the loss of my biological daughter, Emma Jane. Its been tough to put together, it contains none of the usual items, its just 'that' chapter of the audio book, and an hour of calming, tranquil sounds, in the hope afterwards, if you listen to the audio book chapter, you can decompress and move on.
The events in the audio book chapter happened some 32 years ago, so I'm out of the other side so to speak, but its quite a painful moment in my life if I'm honest, but I'm hoping by commiting my words to this deeply painful chapter of my life, I can begin to heal and let it go...
But please, I urge you, if your in despair with your life right now, please don't listen, give it a swerve.
Much love, John x
