Tristan Stone is off limits.

New to me Author

I enjoyed this book, I thought the first half was rather mediocre but the second half definitely picked up! I think I will return for the second book in the series

This was my first cowboy book. Now I want more. Great story and Narration really immerses you into the world. Also plenty of detailed spicey scenes. What one can you ask for. Other than more lol

Tristan is just the most swoonworthy cowboy, single dad, add in the narration by Connor and Vanessa and you have a cowboy romance that has easily become one of my favorites!

The forbidden aspect, the undeniable chemistry and attraction and funny family dynamics made me fall in love with the characters and this story.

I loved that Lark was different from her family and had the guts to form her own opinion about Tristan and his family. Tristan is a true family man who always puts his family first, including sticking to a generations old feud, but I loved that he could not deny his feelings for Lark despite the feud.

As for the narration, Vanessa was new to me but I loved her instantly, she added humor and emotion to Lark and she was so fun to listen to, I will definitely listen to more books narrated by her.
And then there is Connor, the man who is always good with a f… it moment and bringing across the inner struggles of his characters.
Both were amazing at voicing the side characters and making the distinction between the various characters clear.
