The clock struck midnight, but when Prince Charming is a detective, he has no problem hunting down his mafia Cinderella in this spicy holiday retelling by Top 35 Best Selling author Jill Ramsower.
Sachi
I was trapped in a nightmarish conversation
when a gorgeous man in a masquerade mask
saved me with a kiss.
He pretended to be my date.
He danced with me.
Enchanted me.
Then, invited me home with him.
It was supposed to be a delicious night of anonymity.
I never expected our paths to cross the very next day.
Me with my Mafia friends, and him … the police detective.
What to expect from Mistletoe Masquerade:
- Cinderella story
- Holiday Masquerade ball
- Secret identity
- One-night stand
- Alpha hero
- Jealous/possessive hero
- Law enforcement
- Billionaire
For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite." My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

Connor Crais and Persephone Lee tell the story and it could not have been better cast. Crais as Malone has that alpha feel, very sensual and warm. Lee is Sachi, know what she wants but unsure she can have it. These two together bring the emotions out and keep the passion high. Fabulous listen!
Perfect for the holiday!

Mistletoe Masquerade is a Christmas novella in The Moretti Men series. This can be enjoyed as a standalone. Sachi is a food sculpture. She always gets invited to fancy parties but always as part of the staff. For once she wants to just live life. She decides she is going to sneak into a police holiday masquerade event after she is done setting up the fruit sculptures. She gets corned by these two creeps at the party. Detective Dean Malone comes to her rescue. He pretends that they were together and he had been looking for her. They instantly had sexual tension between them. The only problem is, she is friends with the notorious Moretti crime family. Will they be able to work around that small bump in the road. I loved this book.
Persephone Lee and Connor Crais did a phenomenal job narrating this book in duet style narration.

I really enjoyed this novella. Cinderella is one of my favourite retellings, so I knew going in that I’d love it. Starting with Sachi, her best friend is married to one of the Moretti men, who is part of the mafia. So spending a night with a detective and the fear of him discovering who she’s connected to hangs over her like a constant weight. Sachi is sweet, beautiful, and just wants to be someone different for one night, and that unforgettable evening meant everything to her.
Then we have Dean, the MMC, who is a walking “mandy cane” a term that genuinely made me laugh. I loved the way Dean carries himself confident, flirtatious, and completely obsessed with Sachi. Their chemistry was instant, and the balance between storyline and spice worked perfectly. I won’t lie I’m a sucker for the use of Sir and Daddy, so those scenes absolutely hit the mark for me.
A quick fun, festive, spicy Cinderella retelling that delivers exactly what it promises.

A mafia based Cinderella retelling, all taking place around the Holiday season.
Sachi and Dean are at opposites end of the law,but they are unexpectedly and extremely attracted to eachother.
They meet at a Christmas ball,Sachi is not meant to be there enjoying the ball, she is supposed to be serving at the ball.Everyone is masked so who will know.
Dean is a detective and he and Sachi gravitate towards eachother instantly..This is a novella so everything happens quickly so it packs quick punches...and the ideal, listen for the holiday season.
Narrated perfectly by Connor Crais and Persephone Lee who bring Sachi and Dean alive in a wonderful and sexy way.
They share an incredible night of passion together and then Sachi flees in the night, much to Dean's disappointment..He is determined to find her but doesn't have to wait long to meet her again.
They didn't tell one another who they actiually are so they are oblivious to the forbidden element of them being together...An encounter the next day reveals that Sachi has Mafia connections and Dean is a detective their shock broke my heart.
Mistletoe Masquerade brings all the spice, adventure, emotion and fun to Christmas and was a fabulous listen..I LOVED it and found it very compelling.
