I’m afraid it is almost impossible to listen to this audiobook. Please bring back the version with Hugh Fraser as a narrator. I just wasted money on buying this one.

Horrendous narration

I listened to this book to remind myself of the story in light of a recent Netflix production of the book following this one in AC’s stable. I found the delivery of this story so awful that I actually missed half the words(I have had to constantlyre-run whole sentences) and I will now actively avoid any other book read by the same reader. Truly dreadful delivery of a story by an acclaimed writer.

Not one of Agatha’s best and made worse by the awful articulation, poor pronunciation and dreadful delivery of the reader.

I literally couldnt follow the story - the narrator is slurring words and mispronouncing British names. Sounds drunk to me. I want my money back, Audible!

the narrator has such poor diction, almost slurring, that this is impossible to listen to.

Classic Christie in the espionage vein but ruined by truly awful narration! The reader was mumbling and often incomprehensible at times, at best it was flat and dull. Many words were dropped or muttered making it hard to follow, and there was a lack of expression throughout. The whole thing read in an American accent was also confusing and out of character.
