Jander Teregnan has never wanted anything more than to become a mage—to serve his king and defend his country as he explores his natural talent at commanding the strange force known as magic. It's a great start to a new series, featuring the adventures of Jander a Mage apprentice and Andrei his master who comes later his lover. And their dragon Gabriel. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. Really well narrated by Dan Calley who is one of my favourite narrators.
