In a realm full of secrets, she’s collecting them all.

A choice to make.

Tessalyn Ausra’s fate has always been out of her hands. Still bonded to the Heir of Endings, she now finds herself with more control than ever before. Everyone wants something from her, and she has to choose a side. But in a realm full of villains, she trusts no one, and she has secrets of her own to keep.

A plan to salvage.

Control and knowledge have always been Theon St. Orcas’s greatest weapons, but both have slipped through his fingers. Given a task by the rulers of the realm, he’s racing against the clock to get his plans back on track. But as myths become reality, he finds himself fighting more than time in an effort to keep what’s his or lose it all to fury.

A fate to alter.

Axel St. Orcas has never minded rubbing shoulders with the depraved rather than the elite. It’s easier to hide his shame among the corrupt. But with each passing day, he risks triggering a curse and endangering those he cares for most. He’ll sacrifice anything to keep them safe, even if that means giving up everything he is.

Who will be left standing when Chaos comes to reign? Storm of Secrets and Sorrow is book two of four in The Legacy Series.

This is a new adult, dark fantasy romance series with elements that may be triggering to some listeners. Please be sure to check the updated content information. Seriously. We know the MMC is a morally gray, walking red flag. Listen to the content information, then embrace the darkness.

This book was fabulous and I felt that we got to understand all the characters a lot more than in the first book where they were all unlikeable (in my opinion). There was action, humour, love, spice and a great storyline and villain! I am now totally addicted to this series and am glad I stuck with it!

This is an excellent series. Clever writing. She covers all the little details. Tugs at your heart. Frustrates you. You will have your favourite characters and those that you hate. It’s all there. Looking forward to the next one.
And I have to say the female performer is excellent. The male not so good IMO but more tolerable if you speed him up to 1.2. His voice doesn’t drag as much then.

Brilliant

This is more fun than the first for sure. I love having more Luca in the story. Tessa is probably winning gold in most annoying fmc ever. She’s incredibly hard to relate to, behaving like a child throughout, refusing to see beyond herself and her own problems. The forced British accent makes it way worse unfortunately. I think this story is unique and def a page turner but it’s getting a little too much and snooze-festy with the long conversations about gods and lineages and whatnot.

More luca

The first book in this series was a five stars for me and I had big expectations for the second. It disapointed me greatly.
First of all, the MFM relationship thrown in as the book progresses annoyed me very much, as I was already in love with the idea of Tessa and Theon together. But I might be a little biased in this aspect, because I don't like the why choose trope at all, I find it highly unrealistic and can't identify with it or understand it (didn't know it was a why choose before I was already too invested in the story). I don't have a problem with spice that involves multiple partners, but multiple love interests? Nahhhh
Secondly, what in the actual fuck was that ending? I mean, why introduce me to a very flawed and clearly traumatised character like Theon, show me that despite the fact that he is clearly a victim himself he managed to hold onto some redeemable qualities and make me love him, just to fucking destroy him in the end? I cannot respect/like a male character whose pride and dignity were completely shattered. And don't even get me started on the "wanna be spicy but actually vengeance" scene with Tessa and Theon that made me actually want to vomit. I don't understand this LOVE for humiliating MMCs in books. Just so the female would feel powerful. And this time it wasn't even deserved. Theon is visibly struggling to do what he thinks is best, he has good intentions. Both of them are clearly traumatised and abused but it seems to me that the author somehow justifies her while punishing him. I like fairness, sorry. She is just as bad as him if not even worse, as soon as she finds out the fact that she is powerful, she does despicable things.
Would likely continue with the series because I somehow foolishly hope is going to redeem itself but at this point I am just sad and feeling sorry for starting the series in the first place.

I wanted so badly to like this book as much as i did the first one
