1. Secrets to Reveal

A lonely cryptographer finds a Scottish captain a puzzle too intriguing to resist, if he isn't an enemy agent trying to access the information in her head.

2. Kisses to Steal

A weary courtesan finds a younger wolf is the perfect elixir to revive her senses, if only there was a way for them to be together.

3. Layers to Peel

A bored and restricted lady discovers a rough and scarred Highlander might be her match in all things, if they don't kill each other first...

Each chapter being written from the perspective of one of the characters means that you get around a problem of choosing one protagonist to share their side. A little repetitive with each woman starting off thinking that they will never have the true love of a good man, but they did it in different ways. So many poorly written werewolf and vampire books so I had low hopes, but this is a good book regardless of the otherworldly themes. Well read and well worth a listen.

surprisingly good, I am looking forward to more

An entertaining story with great characters and world-building. Full of action and romances set against the background of the war against Napoleon.

Very enjoyable

This kept me very entertained for a couple of days. The story was interesting, if a bit predictable but it was enjoyable. Prepare for some steamy scenes and just enjoy it. The narrator was the whole reason I went for these books as I’ve listened to a few of her recordings and she didn’t disappoint. I liked that the 3 books were included in one as I don’t think I would have paid for all of them separately.

Can’t wait for book 4.
