WHEN LIVES ENTANGLE, WEBS WILL WEAVE...

A teacher. A soldier. An immigrant. A joker. A loner. A chancer. A carer.

A mosaic of seven regular townsfolk are going about their days, blissfully unaware their lives are about to interweave, interchange and interact; entangling into such a messy web that, together — and unbeknownst to them — they end up changing the face of America forevermore.

In the mold of movies such as Traffic, Magnolia & The Usual Suspects, In the Middle of Middle America follows multiple characters, allowing the reader to become a fly on the wall to observe seven lives as they entangle into such a mess that it all leads to a head-spinning twist.©2021 David B. Such a tragic fictional story that could be fact. This book will stay with me long after I finished listening. The ending was unexpected and hard hitting. The characters and all their flawed perfection brilliantly preformed in this audible.

The Ending!

Has taken me over a year to really get into a book but as soon as I start listening to this was hooked.
Dont want to give away any spoilers , but loved the main characters and was not expecting the ending.
Really really great performances by all the narrators.
Im moving onto the second in this series now and look forwars to being fully immersed in a story again.

Loved every minute

Don’t wanna spoil anything so I’ll keep this to a minimum. But this book is about the most powerful book I’ve read in years. Outstanding.

Jaw dropping

I don’t review things very often. But I felt I had to with this one.

Just WOW. What an incredibly powerful story.

I am a huge fan of David’s and was so happy to finally get this on audible. The narration was lovely, and I do believe that can make or break an audio book. The story was so worth the wait.

I don’t want to give anything away so will just say this. If you only listen to one book this year, make it this one.

Thought provoking. Deeply touching.

Wow. I had seen this book reviewed in an online book club that I follow & the premise (the power on news media in the US) really appealed to me. I was gripped from the outset & really cared about so many of the characters. The only thing that grated was the Irish accents of some of the narrators. But, overall, a superb book, shocking in parts.

Superb topical look at media in America (& gun cluture)
