Summary
Winner! Killer Nashville 2022 Claymore Award for Best Suspense
She sees the dead.
He’s a homicide detective who doesn’t believe in ghosts.
Until Evelyn’s clues become the key to solving a string of unsolved murders… and getting too close to her might be the most dangerous mistake he’s ever made.
Evelyn has spent her life hiding what she can do.
As an artist, her sketches don’t just capture faces—they reveal the dead. Whispers. Clues. Secrets no one else can see. It’s a gift she’s learned to keep quiet… because the truth has a way of putting her in danger.
But when her closest friend is murdered, staying hidden is no longer an option.
The victim’s ghost is still talking.
Detective Leo Ricci believes in evidence, instincts, and catching killers before they strike again. Evelyn doesn’t fit into his world—and he doesn’t trust what he can’t explain.
But he can’t ignore her.
Because everything she sees… leads them closer to the truth.
As the case spirals and the body count rises, Evelyn and Leo will have to trust each other with more than the investigation… because the closer they get to the truth, the more deadly it becomes.
Some secrets refuse to stay buried.
And this one could cost them everything.

Sarah Puckett and Walker Williams know just how to make a story like this come to life. Puckett as Evelyn is strong, a little emotional, but stands her ground with a fierce stubbornness. Williams is the overprotective alpha detective. He is cynical yet gives a broader look. These two also bring the balance of the characters in with voices that fit each one, letting us into the world of the paranormal, and the mind of a serial killer. Loved these two and the listen they created.
The best of everything!

🎧📚🎧 And the amazing narration, Sarah Puckett and Walker Williams did a fabulous job bringing these characters and their story to life. I loved how they took each role, made it their own with a complete understanding of the character and gave each a voice that fit their persona to a tee. Puckett played Evelyn’s role with perfection, grasped every side of her personality, her confidence and bad@assery and Williams did the same for Leo. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to, their narration brings you right in to the story and keeps you there the entire time. Thank you for another great listen.
