About this listen

He captured a fae prince. But can he capture his heart?

Lochlann Wilde walks in the shadow of his father, a legendary summoner who commanded mythical beasts in battle. But Locke isn't legendary. He’s barely a summoner, never passing his academy’s trial of the elements.

And then he accidentally summons a fae prince with a beautiful body and a bad attitude.

Sylvan is fiery and ferocious, stronger than anything Locke has ever encountered. And hotter, too. But time is running out. Locke must tame the prince’s wild heart. If he fails his trial, he’ll lose his inheritance and ruin his family's name.

Without Sylvan, Locke could lose his chance to become a true summoner...along with his shot at true love.

Prince of Flowers is a contemporary fantasy romance with an HFN ending. Can a snarky summoner and a fickle fae prince endure mythical creatures, meddling goddesses, the fury of the elements, and each other? Only one way to find out. If you like sorcery, spice, and everything nice, you’ve come to the right place. Start the Wild Hearts series today.

I was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it! I liked the main characters, they were cute together and the sexy scenes (2) were hot. The plot was just ok though. It was simple but not engaging enough. But the book was sweet and short so I’ll listen to the next but when available!

And narrator, Greg Boudreaux, was excellent as always!

I have to say that I loved Lochlann (Locke). He can’t seem to do anything right and will never be able to achieve the greatness of his father. In fact, he should’ve graduated a while ago, but he can’t even manage to do that. He’s ridiculed by a classmate and even his best friend can’t cheer him up.

He goes off to the forest and accidentally summons a fae prince. He has no idea what to do with the man, and figures bringing him back to school makes as much sense as anything else.

Then he discovers he must go on a quest. That he has one task to accomplish. The problem? Sylvan, although hotter than sin, is also a difficult and demanding man. Oh, and did I mention hotter than sin?

Somehow, the two men find a way to work together and although the book ends on a happily for now, I foresee a happily ever after in future books which I will definitely pick up. The narrator, Greg Boudreaux, did a fantastic job. No one does early adulthood angst as well and given the book is entirely in Locke’s point of view, this worked. I’m glad I picked this one up. Can’t wait for more.

As a first book in a series this felt more like a prologue then anything else. Lots of info dumping and no real focused. It felt like a it should have been double in size so everything could slow down and let us actually be present with each event that happens. As a slow burn romance it could have used a slower burn. I really liked the narration and think that’s the only reason I enjoyed this as much as I did

He captured a fae prince.

A super start to a series that promises to be a must from Nazri Noor. Locke and Sylvan are amazing to get to follow on their starting journey. Greg Boudreaux was a superstar as always. Hope the wait for the next instalment is not too long.
