Sometimes you need to sit back and enjoy a sweet romance and this book is perfect for that. Austin is on the verge of success with his new invention. On the way to acquire the company necessary, he is kidnapped. But this former Navy SEAL is not going down. When he escapes, he ends up at a cabin with a feisty woman. Maisy lives alone, away from the rat race and her ex. When this strange man lands on her doorstep, the quiet is about to end. But they have an instant connection. Will danger come to her? Will Austin be able to keep her safe and get back to his home alive? Sweet, romantic and action packed, this short has a little of everything. The perfect afternoon listen to make my ears happy.

Cara Firestone gives a brilliant performance. She easily switches between characters, keeps the action and thrills high and the romance passionate. I enjoyed her narration and will watch for more from her.

Loved the narration of Cara Firestone

This book may be short, but it has it all. Action, pace, romance.
Maisy lives alone, away from the rat race and her ex. But that is all about to change ,when this strange man lands at her door.
Austin is a former Navy Seal, who is CEO of company who is on the verge of success with his new invention. On the way to acquire the company necessary, he is kidnapped. Austin is not going to allow that to happen. After escaping , he ends up at a cabin with a feisty woman. Maisy.
