Welcome to the dark side of the paranormal world.
For a hundred years, Camden had one all-consuming goal: to find his brother Caiden. He was forever searching and always hoping.
Whitlock spent his life denying the power inside him. Living openly was an adjustment, one he wasn’t comfortable with yet. Though the others knew part of his story, he still kept one secret to himself. He lived in fear of the pack not accepting him.
The first time Whit saw Cam, it was love at first sight. He never dreamed his crush would want him back.
But Caiden was still on the run, leaving a part of Cam perpetually empty. Whit would do anything to soothe Cam’s soul, even if it meant putting himself in harm’s way.
Death. Danger. Inevitable destruction. That was the life these shifters led. Only time would tell if they’d survive the latest storm headed their way.

Many things happened in here that are important for the pack and we also learnt more things we did not know before and it was amazing.
I liked how the relationship between them slowly develop until both of them couldn't deny their feelings and gave up their connection.
The narration of Troy Duran was pretty amazing as always, Dan Lewis is a new narrator for me and he did a god job narrating this characters.

This is the ninth book in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. However, they do reference characters from other books so I would recommend reading in order.
I absolutely love Michelle’s books! They always leave me with a smile. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Camden and Whitlock. I really enjoyed that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really helped bring the story to life.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series Aiden’s Awakening to be released on March 28, 2021 so I can get Aiden and Honey’s story.
Troy and Daniel did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this series if you love Paranormal Romances.

Whit has a painful past of his own which resulted in him having to hide who he is from everyone that was close to him. He is very attracted to Camden but doesn’t believe that the feelings would ever be returned so he stays silent until he doesn’t.
The chemistry between them is intense and thy both realize that they are mates but first they must deal with an enemy who is out to hurt their fellow paranormals. Witty banter and all the feels as not only do we get to see the relationship between Camden and Whit unfold but we get to catch up with all the other characters we know and love as well. The performance of the narrators made a great story that much better. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
