I’m supposed to care for a kid, not create one!

Space needs nurses. That’s what they told me, and that’s why I agreed to go. They say Raider is the last place I want to end up, but I’m up to the challenge. I’ll care for the warlord’s child. One problem. He wants me to make said child. With him. No. Not happening. Never. I'm not selling my body to some brute! But Kain isn’t the brute I imagined. And the longer I’m on Raider, the longer I wonder if belonging to him would be so bad.

I don’t need tricks to find a woman. Compassionate. Smart. Beautiful. Abby is all these things. But she’s not willing, and I won’t force her. If I send her back, IEP will just pass her off to another planet. I can’t put her in that situation. As I get to know her, I want her more and more. My body knows she’s my fated mated. I don’t want her to merely be a surrogate. I want a family with her. Once she’s given me a child, she’ll be allowed to leave Raider and never return. What will it take to get her to stay?

Nurse for an Alien Warrior is a steamy alien romance featuring a warrior hero and the compassionate human nurse who awakens the mating gene within him.

I loved the dual narration of Jack Calihan and Kelley Huston

Abby is a nurse who loves looking after sick children. She is offered the chance to do the same on an alien planet, Abby takes the opportunity, but there are consequences. Instead of a nursing contract, Abby finds out she has signed a breeding contract.. Oh boy does the fur fly and the heat goes up a couple of notches.

The Intergalactic Exchange Program tricks Abby, she believes she is going to be a nurse for Kain the Great the ruler of Raider. Kain thinks he has bought a contact for Abby to carry his child. Not the best start to their relationship. This is a great story, the characters are likable and engaging. The choice of narrator is excellent. Another great story in this series.

Another great story in this series.

This was a little different for other Roxie Ray books. It wasn’t so here are there. The plot was straight forward and doesn’t have many holes that I can see.
I love how the couple understands from the beginning that being together would be hard and maybe it isn’t such a good idea. They are allowed to grow and learn from each other and other characters around them.
The narrators are pretty good at being the characters a live. There was a little issue with weird sounds in the background and a lot of mouth sounds... like licking or smacking of the lips.
I would recommend others to give this one a try.

Different but good

Really engaging story line brought to life by excellent narration from Jack Calihan and Kelly Huston.
Highly recommended.
If there had been dual narration for the rest of the series I would have bought them.

Gem of a listen

this is absolutely fantastic, kain and abigail are great characters. The other characters in this book really add to the story, making the whole thing much more interesting. The story flows really well, with a hea guaranteed at the end. The last chapter introduces the set up for the next book in the series, which I have read the first 4. I will absolutely be reading the rest, these are so good.

not the contract I signed up for.
