This was a fantastic book. Narration was OK but I did get a bit lost at a few points with all the different characters. Still well worth a listen

The best & most comprehensive book I have listened to on John Gotti. This book has been extremely well researched & is very well narrated. This is a must for any fans of this genre...

Brilliant

having read rise and fall; this book just isn't as good. it's focus is too tight, brushes over some fairly important stuff, dismisses others, and generally suffers for not telling at least in part Sammy's story at the same time. generally when reading books about the mafia that cover the same events; you get a different angle, a new perspective on what went down. this does not. save the time and read rise and fall instead

a hollow shell of the later book Rise and fall
