I enjoyed this book (#2), you need to have read the first book in the series or this won't make sense and will spoilt book 1 for you.
The story is the lead up to book 1 and it was great to see the story from a different perspective. It shows Callista's life with Julian and their daughter and how it has affected Alex.
The narrator was good, easy to listen to but I didn't like his voice for Anastasia (child), but she's not speaking much in the book.

Interesting to see another side to the story
