Note: This is book one of a four-book series and ends in a cliffhanger. If you do not like cliffhangers, you’ll want to get all four books at once.

One night of pleasure can lead to a lifetime of regret....

Jasper and the Weeds are one of the hottest bands in rock music! Jasper, the lead singer, has made the band an instant success. At one of his concerts, a well-known socialite from a popular TV series requests to see him, privately. She sets her latest fantasy on being the one to grace Jasper’s bed. Jasper is powerless to resist her beauty and sex appeal.

Disaster strikes when she posts pictures of their intimate moments on social media. When his fans learn of the escapade, they quickly label him the bad boy of pop music.

Hailey Finch works for a public relations firm and has received the assignment to work with Jasper to restore his public image. She's convinced that Jasper made a bad decision, but that one act shouldn’t cost him his musical career. Will she be talented enough to help restore Jasper’s image and win back his fans? Or will she find that instead, she is at risk of losing her own heart?

Note: This series contains some adult situations. 18+, mature audiences recommended.

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This author does a great job of telling a story and making the characters come to life. Hailey has a daunting task to clean up a Rock Star's image. Jasper's image is far different from his real character. A relationship between Hailey and her client, Jasper, is not allowed in her PR position. In comes many temptations for both of them. Those temptations put a wedge between them. Looking forward to the next book. The narrator does a great job with the individual personalities of the characters.

Jasper is a famous rockstar and from the outside it appears he has the perfect life. Having to sing songs that only his record label lets him sing and having to have a public persona that is nothing like the man underneath becomes wearing. To top things off his publicity hungry ex-girlfriend has posted their entire relationship on social media.

Hailey has been assigned to clean up Jasper’s image through her employer. She was raised by her grandmother and dresses like she did but underneath is a woman who wants to help others, is a little naive and wants to succeed in her career.

Although he tries to keep her at a distance she starts to sneak around the walls that he has built around himself but will he let her know the real him? The performance of the narrator draws you in and has you invested in the characters and the story.

Jasper and Hailey!

Rock star romances are one of my favorite genres and this start to the Managed series has me already falling in love. We previously met Jasper in the Entertainment with Jem series. He is the lead singer for the band Weeds, and is falling to bad publicity. Hailey works in public relations and has been assigned to help Jasper fix his image. But what will she be able to without falling for him? Jasper is a great character because he isn't satisfied. I know, sounds terrible, but he knows what he expects out of life, and where he is with his band is not what he wants. Hailey sees Jasper for who he is an not the rock star and for him this is refreshing. Hailey is just as much fun for me because she lacks confidence in herself when she is really an awesome person. Will these two find their way to love? Or is the public in their way? The cliffhanger for this installment is a tough one, be ready to load book 2!

Laurie West is fast becoming one of my favorites. Her voice for the characters is spot on and she can do an accent with ease! I am enjoying her portrayal of these characters, and love when we had the cameo from Jemma that she kept her voices consistent throughout both series!! Time for book 2 and more fun from Clarissa Carlyle and Laurie West!

Leaves me wanting more Jasper and Hailey

This is the first installment in the Managed Series, a Rock Star Romance. Jasper and Hailey's slow burn story is sweet and easy to listen to. This installment ends with a cliffhanger. Laurie West did a good job with the narration.
