This Pride and Prejudice variation is two stories in one book. The first book starts in Ramsgate with the disappearance of Miss Darcy and follows the adventures of Elizabeth Bennet as she seeks to find her. In the second book, our favorite couple has recognized their feelings for one another, but more surprises and challenges still await them at Pemberley.

I loved Julie’s ‘Tempt Me’ variation, that was about vampires & as a twilight fan I thought it was one of the best variations. But this... this is just awful. I simply can’t understand how some are rating it 5 stars!

What doesn’t help is that the narrator is just awful. Maybe it’s because I’m used to listening to Sarah Zimmerman or Harry Frost but this narrator does not sound like the characters at all.

I got as far as chapter 9 but I just can’t continue. I mean I’ve liked every variation I’ve listened to so far including the one where they’re vampires but this story is not believable at all!?

The story is too contrived for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed this very different variation. it's very different but that didn't spoil my enjoyment. it's narration was very good and brought the kids characters to life.

A JAF variation should at least have true characterisation. This story has P & P names and that's all.

I have heard much better from Julie Cooper, but the narration was (very) below par.
