I thought it would be a better story

For me its about the narrator before I am going to like or dislike a book this didn't keep you interested.

Something a Little Different.

This was free, and I thought it would be rubbish! What a shock, I could listen to his of this type of rock and roll investigative journalism for hours! In short, it's great.

learnt some unknown facts that were quite amusing and gave some more insight into Cash and the album itself. didn't always appreciate the over-enthusiastic voice of the narrator. still good to listen to.

Interesting story, over eager narrator

I found the story very interesting. But the narrator is trying waaay too much, which at times has the opposite effect, than the intended. It takes away from the suspense rather than adds to it!

Fascinating story

While I enjoy Johnny Cash's music and probably know more than the next person about the musician I am not overly familiar with his work. Over these five episodes I've enjoyed learning more about Johnny Cash, the album and the context of its creation. But really, the most interesting aspect of this Show is the story of Johnny and the inmate he befriended Glenn, with wonderful interviews from family and friends sharing amusing and shocking anecdotes - this was a story that will stay with me.

Not what I expected but definitely worth listening

Not a very detailed response on Cash like I was initially expecting but a brilliantly documented story with emotional interviews I never expected a good audiobook worth the listen for any true super fans with interest in learning more about Cash's greatest album and the death and despair that came with it
