©2018 Audible, Ltd (P)2018 Audible, Ltd

Good acting and sound effects but the story and dialogue weren't great. I found myself wanting it to get to the end while listening.

A bit of an effort to get through

I wasn’t sure if I’d like a full performance audio rather than the reading of a book, but omg this was amazing... I was completely mesmerised! Loved it.

Amazing!

This is a great creepy thriller. Set in Victorian London, this follows a young woman's search for answers about her father's death. The characterisation is great, and the story moves at a fast pace. As a change from readings, this dramatisation is well worth the listen.

Gripping and creepy

Marty Ross is a very gifted horror writer and all his craft is in display here, with a very pacey script and excellent descriptions that are both lyrical and horrifying. This is definitely not a production for those that are of a sensitive disposition, but for those that enjoy a full-blooded, dark, gothic story, this have much to recommend it.

A great production, brimful with menace

Got straight into it. Great performances that brought the story to life. Thoroughly enjoyed for my first audio book.
