Lure of the fox
Format: audiobook
This is an enjoyable story to read/listen to although this story Is a little different to the others in as far as more of the focus is on Ella and Jake’s relationship, they have a past so that all comes into this story but of course danger strikes meaning Ella’s secret will be revealed to Jake.
I do like a strong female lead and with Ella being a fox shifter I really was looking forward to seeing her put a much bigger, badder and more dangerous shifter in his place. I’m not going to put spoilers so you’ll have to read it for yourself to see what happens.

Fox’s fate
Lure of the Fox is the sixth (and last) book in the Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart series. Set on the tropical island of Maui, book six follows Ella and Jake’s story. I've been intrigued by Ella since she was mentioned at the start of book one, and I’m so glad she has her own book. I loved Ella’s inner fox – she was so playful and foxy! With a bit of destiny (and matchmaking!) Ella and Jake finally get their HEA.
This book has the usual thrills, humour and steam I’ve come to expect from Anna Lowe’s books. I liked that the ending gives the premise for the next series of books (Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire). As always, the narration by Kelsey Osborne was amazing. Highly recommended.

It's all chaos, and there's no foxing it.
Oh my gosh, Ella is so adorable. My heart broke for her, as a female shifter she has it so much harder than the men. Her feisty yet very stubborn attitude is extremely refreshing, she's a woman who can hold her own. Then there's Jake, now he is absolutely gorgeous. Everything about him makes me swoon, he's strong, determined and a little unsure of himself when it comes to Ella. The two of them end of in several awkward predicaments, which had me rolling over laughing at their rotten luck. The way both of them tripped over each other, metaphorically speaking. There's also the rest of the guys, the constant teasing was so good. The storyline is really fun and exciting, exactly what I've come to love about Anna Lowe's books. All of her characters are interesting and different, I love every single one of them. It's very hard to pick a favourite because they all are amazing, and the way she describes the places sounds so incredible. Coha point really makes you wish you were there, sorry if I misspelled that. Between the way everything is described and switching perspectives, these are what I love so much with the authors writing. This series is absolutely amazing, the narrator does a wonderful job reading this beautiful story.

Gutted it’s the end of series
Book 6 of the Jewel of the Hearts series by Anna Lowe. Lure of the Fox.
Ella Kitt is a fox shifter that hasn’t met member of her own shifter species. She’s the only female shifter that’s part of a elite special forces group that has now retired to a Hawaii island and the group takes care of a private estate that is very private.
Jake McBride is a human special forces that has worked with Ella and her shifter group but doesn’t know anything about shifters or mates but one night Ella lets her guard down and has a very steamy night with Jake but afterwards can’t commit to him and the parts ways only to meet up on Maui for a protection job on Kao point.
I’ve been dying to read/listen to Ella’s story for months. You know very little about her at start but each book previously teases you with a new titbit. I absolutely loved this whole book and I did try and pace myself but that did not happen I listen to it in half a day and then had to wait to write this review because I was gutted the series had ended.
Fantastic narration from Kelsey Osborne especially been able to express each very different character individually.
Looking forward to checking out more audiobooks by Anna Lowe especially the spin of series which I think is Pearls of Desire.

A little bit of everything.
Finally Ella gets her man. Ella and Jake had their one night but both never forgetting and chance would have them thrown together. A lucky find on a street vendor stall by Jake, a kidnapping and a hero. Love this book for Ella.
