From USA Today best-selling author Raymond L. Weil comes the third book in the Star Cross series.

The situation in the galaxy is growing desperate. Every day the Vorn are harvesting world after world to be used as food for their Queens. The Vorn ships are nearly indestructible and destroying every fleet that dares to oppose them.

Lakiam Fleet Commodore Dreen is trying to form an alliance to try to stop the Vorn, but he needs a victory to bring other Protector Worlds to his side.

Fleet Admiral Kurt Vickers undertakes a daring journey to the center of the galaxy seeking a half-mythical race that might just have the secret to stopping the Vorn. However, the mission goes horribly wrong, and he might never see Newton or Earth again.

Great storyline

I have listened to the full series and found them all enjoyable and that this series eclipses both the Galactic Empire Wars and Slaver Wars series. This review written during my 3rd listen of the series.

Best played at 85% speed.

Best Series from Mr weil

The story in its self is good, but it has massive holes and how many times do they have to describe the aliens of the black ships destroyer of worlds, I counted at least 5 times, was getting annoying. And then not divulging what happened to the people in deep survival areas of the planets that were attacked, did they survive didn't they? It was slightly mentioned later but bloody hell. The battles always seemed to be very similarly discribed also. Very fast moving book. Sometimes a good thing not in this case. Was a fun read though.

Loved the story, but I found it a little repetitiv
