Rough-and-tumble Saturday Woodcutter thinks she's the only one of her sisters without any magic - until the day she accidentally conjures an ocean in the backyard. With her sword in tow, Saturday sets sail on a pirate ship, only to find herself kidnapped and whisked off to the Top of the World. Is Saturday powerful enough to kill the demon witch who holds her captive and save the world from destruction? And, as she wonders grumpily, “Did romance have to be part of the adventure?”

As in Enchanted, listeners will revel in the fragments of famous (and not-so-famous) folklore and fairy tales such as “The Master Maid,” “The Snow Queen,” and “Hansel & Gretel” that embellish this action-packed story of adventure and, yes, romance.

A book for each of the seven Woodcutter sisters is a wonderful prospect if the first two books of the series are anything to go by.

Thoroughly enjoyable

Refreshing, fun and well written. Phenomenal author and narrator. A pleasant surprise I enjoyed immensely. Conclude I have a new favorite author to enjoy for years to come. For me this book came as a breath of fresh air in a time of need. Highly recommend people to give it a try. Feel this book did for me what a clothesline does for clothes and blankets.

Intelligent, fun, refreshing and well written.
