Eleştirmen yorumları

"Scott Brick brings a chilling calm to the complex story with his deep, even tone and clear enunciation.... He does a particularly fine portrayal of John Hammond, the creator of the controversial park, giving the character a raspy edge that suits the dark agenda beneath his grandfatherly facade." this is a really great story and a lot more in depth than the movie, narrated really well and keeps you attention with his use of different voices, there is however one small problem. The second book in the series the lost world, is only available in German so now I can't listen to it

really good but.....

I did enjoy this, and thought the narration was very good, though I was flagging a little bit by the end - felt like the story easily could have been reigned in by an hour or so.

I do wish the author had been a bit more varied when it came to relating some of the dialogue. The number of times the characters' conversations followed the same "he said/she said/he said/she said" format became quite irritating. Maybe just a quirk of the conversion to audiobook, but it repeatedly felt like the kind of thing you'd expect from a kid writing a story at junior school, and it was really jarring and noticeable when it happened (which was quite a bit).

Pretty good

Like everyone else, I’ve seen the film but I wondered what the book was like. Quite superb and so much more depth than the film. Highly recommended

After years of thinking about reading/listening to this book I finally worked up enough courage to do so. I was not disappointed as I've only ever seen the movie I was blown away by how different it was in comparison. There's more tension especially in the first half of the book and its more graphic than I expected.

There are a few moments when the story slows down and it explains all the science it won't be to everyone's taste but I liked it.

Well worth a read/listen and I plan on doing so again in the future

I am 40 so Jurrasic Park takes me back to that care free feeling, I decided to try the book and I can't recommend it enough. There is much more detail in the story and the narrator is very relaxing sounding. Great book.

P.S Don't read all the reviews as some people point out small things about the narrator that bug them and once that glass shatters there is no going back 😣

more detailed than the movie
