Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations with God series has changed the way millions of Americans think about God. The essence of Walsch's message lies at the heart of faith—the sacred place in every person who stands alone with his or her God. In Friendship with God, Walsch shares the next part of his journey and leads us to deepen and strengthen our own bonds with God.

Walsch urges each of us to develop our own unique relationship with God, one who is everywhere and speaks to us in all that we do. It is up to us to begin the conversation, to stop and listen, to respond. And just as in any relationship, a conversation is just the first step—one needed to establish trust, to create communion, and ultimately to forge a friendship with God.

I now believe we can all have friendship with God, and that God wants to be a friend, not The Father.
