A wonderful tale for anyone who likes dogs. Although this is a children's book, I would highly recommend it for any age.

Excellent! Top marks for everything. My first book by this author. I am downloading my next one by her now. I loved the story. It kept me engaged. It was a great ending too without giving too much away reading this. The narration was brilliant. I loved loved loved it. A nice easy enjoyable listen. Really different to what I usually listen to. Wanted something I could just get lost in to without having to concentrate hard.5 stars all round !

Where does One Dog and His Boy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This audio book would rank highly among the many audio books that I listen to with my children.

What did you like best about this story?

I particularly enjoyed Eva Ibbotson's view of Hal's parents. Some amusing and sometimes laugh out loud commentary on modern parenting, and the experience that some children have.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The most enjoyable scene in the book was Hal's arrival at his grandparents cottage by the sea.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book made us all laugh a lot. We didn't cry.

Any additional comments?

We all enjoyed listening to the book, as a family of parents and children aged 5,4,2. All of the children listened with great interest and we were entertained too,
