“You can’t help but fall in love with Lynsay Sands!”
—Christina Dodd

Once again, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Lynsay Sands displays another side of her extraordinary talent with The Hellion and the Highlander, a sensuous and wonderfully witty love story set in the breathtaking countryside of Scotland. The tremendously popular author of the Argeneau paranormal vampire romance series, Sands is equally adept at historical romance, as she demonstrates in her third Highland romp, perfect for fans of Julie Garwood, Jill Barnett, and Teresa Medieros—and a delightful companion to her own Devil of the Highlands and Taming the Highland Bride.

Here It's Kade Stewarts story the brother of Merry whom married the Devil of Donnachaidh whom we met in their book. Kade has returned from Edward's Crusade and then these men were captured by Baibar's men and kept and worked as slaves for 3 years until they were able to be cunning and escape. Then within 'striding distance of landing onto English Land Kade had an accident and As William's home was the closest Will decided this was the best place where his beloved Sister Averill could aide and heal his best mate until he's be able to get home to Scotland so as soon as he was awake and well enough to speak he told his cousin Ian Angus & Domnal to inform his father, brothers and sister that he was alive and will be home soon.
He woke to the sound of a female's voice talking about how's she'd been rejected by the men her father had tried to give her a good husband but they've each had told her she was ugly and she had the devil's curse due to her hair colouring and then the last one had told her she had no bussomand then she couldn't stop herself from standing up for herself. And she is Averill His 'new' best mate Will that's a Lord William Montagne whom he and about 30 men from Stewarts castle but only he and the remaining 3 we left living.
But it was after when he found that he really liked listening, talking to Averill that he decided he wanted to be the man to marry her.
But it was on their travel up to Scotland with Will and the Montagne Soldiers that he had very near death or should I say they as newly weds.
What a story and what a start off married life to ALL THESE HIGHLAND BRIDES GET OFF TO, SO IT IS VERY LUCKY THAT IT BRINGS THEM CLOSER TOGETHER AND PUSHING THEM TO ṚEALISE THAT THEY'RE ABLE TO ACTUALLY LOVE THEM THROUGH THICK AND THIN

Loved all the 3 books of the series.
The narrator was ok. But Will's voice sounded like a boy's, or even a girl's at times.
