GET READY FOR THE MOST EXCITING COUNT-DOWN OF YOUR LIFE

HOUR SIXTY-ONE
Icy winter in South Dakota. A bus skids and crashes in a gathering storm. On the back seat: Jack Reacher, hitching a ride to nowhere. A life without baggage has many advantages. And disadvantages too, like facing the arctic cold without a coat.

HOUR THIRTY-ONE
A small town is threatened by sinister forces. One brave woman is standing up for justice. If she's going to live to testify, she'll need help from a man like Reacher. Because there's a killer coming for her.

HOUR ZERO
Has Reacher finally met his match? He doesn't want to put the world to rights. He just doesn't like people who put it to wrongs.

NOW READ THE SEQUEL: Although the Jack Reacher novels can be read in any order, the ending of 61 Hours is directly followed by Worth Dying For.

‘Jeff Harding’s [...] narration captures Reacher’s character perfectly [...] you have to savour every minute.’ The Sunday Times

This was my first Jack Reacher novel. Have to say the cadence of the narrator felt a little strange at first. However, after a while you kind of slip into the tempo.

Having subsequently read the first Reacher novel on Kindle, Jeffrey Hardings narration dovetails really well with Lee Childs quirky prose. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very reliant on your view of the Narrator

Having gone into this after reading bad reviews, I was prepared to be disappointed but it was a cracking Jack Reacher and I do hope he is still alive!! The best place to listen to Jack Reacher and the rhythm of the narrative is while driving

Wish it lasted 61 hours

I don't know how Lee Child comes up with his ideas but they are always fresh and my best second guess is never right! Another supert action thriller which twists and turns with every page. I coudln't put it down. I think I have listened to all the Jack Reacher novels he as written and eagerly anticipate the next one.

If action thrillers are your thing, you will not be disappointed wth this book written in Lee Child's unique style. I just wish he could write them as fast as I can read them!

Lee Child has done it again!
